I do love a multiple grouping. Specially one that blends seamlessly in with our natural surrounds. So I was stopped in my tracks on the morning stroll to work when I spotted over 300 wooden bird boxes, perched high in the trees above Duncan Terrace Gardens in Islington. Apparently they’ve been specially designed by London Fieldworks, with inspiration taken from the period properties – Georgian Houses and the 1960s flats – of the area. They not only provide a rather stylish habitat for local wildlife but something rather lovely for two-legged beasties to admire, too – Neil, Dep Ed
