One of the perks of working on Livingetc is that we sometimes get to experience exciting new places, just as they open. I was lucky enough to spend a night a night of luxe living in London’s most exciting new hotel – the Bulgari in the heart of Knightsbrige. Designed by Antionio Citterio, the exterior in Portland stone with bronze framed windows is a cool new urban landmark, and just a stone’s throw from Harvey Nics.

The super-luxe bedrooms and suites, designed by Antonio Cittero Patricia Viel and Partners reference jewellery designs from Bulgari from the 1920’s and 1930’s,  shown here in the curtains and headboards.

Much of the custom-made interiors –  including the oh, so comfy chairs and the tactile wood panelling in the rooms was created by the long-established Italian company Lema.  This family run business have a great reputation for blending craftsmanship and historical know-how with up to the minute technology.
